Hi everyone. The responses have been sporadic but I do believe there's enough interest to make this happen. I am working very closely with one provider in my area to plan, and she and I will be getting together within a week or so to finalize some details. I've just upgraded to VIP so I will be responding directly to those of you who PMd.

To answer a few questions I have been asked so far:

1) The party itself will be minimal. Hobbyists will pay a small fee to cover the cost of the party which will be quiet and discrete, and serve as a central point from which folks can break off and return to. An extended party may be planned if there is enough interest - food & drinks, music & movies, etc - anybody up for a strip texas hold-em tournament?

2) Eastern VA, but I don't know where - we will shop around for a convenient but discrete spot. Only verified attendees will get the address.

3) Providers, we hope to chat with you individually once everything is confirmed, to discuss logistics and make sure your security/screening needs are met.

4) Hobbyists, you will be screened. You will not be invited unless I know who you really are. Period. I understand your need for privacy and concerns about confidentiality, but if you cannot make a decision to take this leap, then do not bother to respond.
