Soooo.... all day I have been heartbroken over a TV character. I am so absolutely saddened by the loss of Glenn Rhea that I am just beside myself with heartbreak. Unfortunately Game of Thrones, Queen of The South & Shameless cannot cure this hurt...

I think I am alone on this one. If not, weigh in.

Glenn’s been on the chopping block so long, I already grieved for him. It felt like it was just a matter of time. Their deaths were so brutal, though, I was kind of grieving like real people died yesterday.

I want to resent the brutality, artistically speaking, want to condemn it as shock TV, gore for the sake of gore, but I have to admit it was effective. It made me feel.

I just hope they don't go overboard on the cruelty and degradation like Game of Thrones did season before last. I like dark worlds, but when it's non-stop mutilation and killing of characters you like and it's all one note/one tone, it's not art or entertainment

The walking dead. I have the hots for her.

God, yes. I did find myself saying "No not her" for her more than anybody else. I should have known all the ladies were safe, though. Just would have been "bad optics" as they say in politics.

Now if they could manage more screen time for Tara (Alanna Masterson) that might keep me on board a little longer.
