I just watched an interesting short film on YouTube: Rate Me, A Portrait in Twelve User Reviews. It's the story of an escort as told by online user reviews. Some of you may enjoy the artistic merits of this award-winning film (Cannes, Sundance), and some of you will probably be annoyed because it doesn't tell a clear and accessible story.
but it certainly is an interesting piece of video.
It harks back to the old Cinema Verite days of the late 1960s in NYC.
To tell the truth, I'm sort of glad that the story wasn't clear and accessible. The best films use image and sound to leave an impression, and that's what this did pretty damn well
