Even more priceless was his character's name on Beach Blanket Bingo:  Big Drip.  (That movie, by the way, was the last screen appearance of, Buster Keaton!)

Served in the Navy in WW2, then spent the rest of his life making people laugh. RIP Chief Sharkey, we have the watch.
