MSN had a neat little article about 10 memorable moments in Indy racing.  One being the women of the sport with pioneer Janet Guthrie in 1977 being the first woman to race the Indy500, to Danica Patrick's 3rd place Indy500 finish in 2009.  
This photo of Danica at the start of a race is one I really like.  I can see her as a pilot ready to climb into a fighter jet, an astronaut waiting on the launching pad, or the fantastic GO DADDY girl as she is just about to climb into her race car.  Damn fine example of a strong woman.
