I've been around TER and the hobby world a long time. On TER alone since 2001 and the level of attention to the FBSM world has been minimal.
I'm a big fan of all things massage!! I love giving as well as receiving. Yet, finding that perfect combo of Therapeutic and Sensual (T&S) is the holy grail which I have yet to find in a provider.
I've tried to achieve the T&S balance with escorts but the session typically lacks in the T as their objective is more focused on going through the sexual alphabets, i.e. BJ, MISH, DATY, etc versus achieving the balance of massage and sensual. FS providers IMHO simply don’t get and/or can “connect” with the sensual massage aspects of the session.
Conversely, CMTs are not as versed in the Sensual as their skill set is more tailored to the therapeutic.
Then I tried the Tantric thing and to date, that has been the biggest illusion and waste of time I've come across. I'm sure it's due to me not apparently meeting with a truly skilled Tantric provider but the whole Tantric thing is a myth to me.
The AMP world is more a "factory" where you proceed with the known script of….come in, pay the Mama San, lay on your stomach and may include table shower, flip over, perform scripted rub&tug and out the door you go. One may come across the occasional well done massage, or well done sensual in the AMP world but for the most part the AMP experience leaves me with a...."I-coulda-had-a-V8" moment. Not to add the fact that the communication/language barriers does not allow for a certain level of "connection" during the session. Then you overlay that with the fact that many AMP employees may be forced into a sex slave situation does not make the AMP scene as desirable as it once was.
Yes, TER is more geared toward FS and the limit of the 7 rating for massage providers can be a barrier for truly T&S providers to use TER as a source. However, as others have stated, TER is an excellent clearing house to at least find providers who advertise in and provide massage dedicated services.
Even this board dedicated to AMPs limits the broader “discussion” and advertising of all massage activities.
There is a site called Massage Exchange where the premise is folks who are into massage can meet up and do exactly that, exchange massages. But even that has not produced the results I’ve been looking for
