A Dayton, MD woman has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly robbing a man who was under the pretense he was paying her, and a second woman, for sex in an Elkridge motel, according to Howard County Police.
xxx, 24, of the 000 block of Green Bridge Road, faces attempted murder, assault, robbery and theft charges in connection with a Feb. 22 incident that resulted in the victim being transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma center, police said.
According to police, xxxxx and a second woman, who police have identified as yyyy, 22, of the 0000 block of Old Montgomery Road, picked up the man at his residence with the intention of charging him for sex.
The two women took the man, who was aquantatinces with one of the women, to a hotel located in the 000 block of Dorsey Road in Elkridge, police said.
After entering a hotel room, the two women left the room briefly and returned with another man, identified by police as zzzzz, 30, of the same address as yyy, police said.
The victim was then assaulted and transported to Shock Trauma with a head injury, police said.
Police said the man was released from Shock Trauma over the weekend.
They face assault, robbery and theft charges, police said.
xx is being held on $500,000 bond, xx is being held on $200,000 bond, and xx is being held on no bond, police said.
In 2000, xxxx, who is a registered sex offender in the state of Maryland, pleaded guilty to second-degree rape in Carroll County Circuit Court, according to online court documents.
