So, Im interested in seeing a provider but am paranoid about a sting. I found an ad that looked like a real ad, with real pics and matches another providers ad with everything but the phone #. Could she have changed her phone number or is it a sting? Is there any reliable way to find out?

There have been a few instances where LE at BWI has busted guys using a providers pictures with a different phone number. You are doing the right thing to avoid if she is in BWI. I heard thru the grape vine some hobbyists have been busted in reverse stings at BWI.
I believe that it is the same provider. If you look at her profile page, she has a backpage website that is listed. The entire content of the context is virtually identical. The name is even the same. Therefore, I believe that it is the same provider.

Wouldn't that same principle apply even if they had the same phone number? It seems to me that if they got flipped they could just keep their number...
In the state of Maryland and dc region providers have been flipped with new numbers and old numbers. Some hints are she never calls you up for an appointment, then all of the sudden she calls you up for incall in a very hot location. Another hint is she told you she never does incall in hotels then starts the incall in hotels all of the sudden, once again begging you to see her out of standard best practices.
I am sure some guys who have been busted in these schemes can send you some PM's about their experiences.
Never under estimate the lengths that LE will go to get folks, especially in certain counties in Maryland (MoCo).
Here is what happened to me last week. Provider "Hey baby come to my location" Me "no come to mine" Provider "Ok i will give you call in a few minutes" few minutes later Provider "Honey I can't make, come to mine" SHe lost out of a multi hour appointment. I did not want to take to risk to go the hot area. I had seen the provider multiple times. I have never had a provider that I seen before not meet for outcall. They will get a driver or a cab, especially if it the appointment is multihour and $500 or more for the loot taken in.
The next day she called and told me she was at one of those places where traffic can be seen from the outside. To me not a safe situation since she knows better not to do that.
