Hold up.....You put the number & special instead of just telling the story.  

Didn't notice...looks like a slick advertisement.

Went through the same thing a year or so back - a provider I'd seen started sending random texts within a week or so & I had to straighten her out.

I think emails are fine, but for anything beyond that they should ask first.  Otherwise they're just asking for trouble.

How have you managed to not hobby in 18 months?

I quit this hobby every month but have never lasted  more than 3 months away, let alone 18 months.

Don't want this to happen again with her?

Simple solution.....block her number.....done.

in "our" defense and totally not trying to get anyone riled up...

 but we make mistakes sometimes...  
just say "oops! please take me off your mailing list"
or better yet.... say so at first- "please don't contact me unless I contact you first"

i'm sure she didn't mean to ruin your day or breech etiquette... lol

we're not all evil hahahahaha  
well, maybe we are... but only in a naughty kinda way

You open email from provider friend to find a p*ssy staring you in the face. SO looms up and asks, "What's that?!!" You, composing yourself quickly, ask, "Honey, did I mention my dream of returning to pursue my degree in gynecology?"
