This is in reference to the missing woman in Aruba with local ties. This story seems hobby related to me after hearing it on the news. Then I read where she met her vacation partner on an dating site I'm guessing an Ashley Madison type site, I encourage every one to read this article and voice their opinion.

It was Match.com that she met him on. Pretty common site for people to meet. I didn't get any feeling that it was hobby related.

I would run a check on someone before putting myself in harms way.  Intelius is a very useful tool.  Do a background check, and a criminal record check.  Better to be safe than sorry.  This is why we ladies screen like crazy.  There are a lot of bad people out there who make it tough on the good ones.

They got my age wrong by 12 yrs. LOL.

That's why I just got on the MD board!  How did you guys hear that it was Match.com?   She had a boyfriend back home and her and the "travel companion" apparently argued over her travel arrangements. I immediately figured it was money they argued over.  Look at her, look at him, she posted on Facebook "this sucks" from Aruba.


I still think it's a financial situation gone awry.
