to see a new lady. I tend to see that as two separate issues.
First, I think we are all generally willing to take a chance on someone who we can verify as safe in some way, or at least minimize LE risk. Having a P411 or Date-Check profile, a reference from another known hobbyist or provider, info on other boards, etc... all lend credence to our mutual safety.
Second, without reviews we are taking a chance on you... your appearance (are the pics really you and really accurate?) and your menu and performance (for example, no BBBJ is usually a deal-breaker for me). A good website is an absolute must. IMO, your rates should reflect your status as the newest employee in the mailroom; you need to get some experience and performance reviews under your belt before you insist on the boardroom salary. That "value" is the hobbyists' incentive to take that chance you are seeking.
There were recently a few gals in Philly that discounted second sessions if the client posted a review of the first session. That built initial and repeat income and drove pretty quick review publication for them.
You should post on your local board and the boards for areas you will be visiting, just to let people get to know you and become familiar with you. You can post a link to your website with any post you make, provided it is not the start of a thread. You can also post on the ad boards every 7 days (note, this does not mean every week - it is literally every 7 days). Also, spend time reading and participating on the Newbie board, and read everything (everything!) in the self-help center - it will explain a lot.
As for screening, the screening services I mentioned can be a big help for you, but are not enough on their own. You should PM or talk with some experienced providers for advice; never talk about specifics of screening methods on the open board.
Hope this helps
