Is it me or does it seem some of the newer reviews popping up are not real?  maybe its because TER was gone for a couple years Im not sure.  Ive seen reviews marked as new dated 2019.  

As they're trying to catch up with US reviews they've relaxed their standards re time. How long the policy will last, and how far back they'll allow, I'm not sure. But Dec 2019 is definitely in play as I had reviews approved for that time frame. Regarding how legit any specific review is, there's always the issue of bogus reviews being submitted to get VIP credit so it still comes down to reading the review to see if it rings true + assessing the credibility of the reviewer.

I always check out the profile leaving the review. I think what happens often is fake reviews are left for a free vip. That's what the timing suggest.

Any review is only as good as the credibility of the reviewer. With TER's return the problem of bogus reviews definitely requires monitoring. Nothing is perfect but it's still much better than any other review site out there, IMHO.
