My birthday is tomorrow and I'll be turning 25. I've got some expendable income and no big plans. I'm looking for a provider that is first timer friendly. I've looked into booking sessions before but was at little hesitant to give out personal information for screening but I figure my birthday is as good a time as any to take a risk.

You have no reviews, no references, no posting history/credibility on the boards. You have stated that you are reluctant to go through screening.  

You may find someone to respond to your ISO, but I honestly hope not. It is not safe for you, or for the gal.

I suggest you go to the Newbie board and read back a few pages. You are not the first Newbie to join TER, and all the advice you need to establish yourself in the hobby is discussed in the Newbie board threads. Then, read the self-help center (all of it).  

After you have established yourself with a few reviews, references, a board presence, etc... you will know how to arrange a date in an appropriate manner with our wonderful providers.  

I'm not hating on you here, and I'm not calling you out as the po-po; but you are young and inexperienced and you need to follow the advice of those who are experienced and go about things in certain ways that are time-honored, tested and safe for everyone involved.

Please do yourself (and the rest of us) a favor and go to the Newbie board to do some homework and learn how this world works.

I'm pretty sure the OP meant that although he has been reluctant I provide screening info in the past, he is willing to take a risk on his birthday - ie, he is willing to provide screening info on this occassion.

To the OP, just choose a reputable lady and your info will be safe with her.  Treat her with courtesy a nd respect, like you would treat any other lady, like a human being, and not like an object.  You'll be fine!  

Best of luck picking out your birthday gift to yourself!  Sounds like a great indulgence.  Most guys wish they had discovered the hobby younger.  Most ladies are newbie friendly if you're willing to provide your screening info.  The ad board is a great place to search!

I've just seen a big increase in the number of posts from guys with no reviews, references or posting history throwing up ISO posts and 411 posts fishing for info about the gals; Here and on most of the other active boards.  

It just seems.... highly coincidental. I hope everyone is being careful always, but especially with these particular posts. I doubt LE is satisfied with closing down just that West Coast site.

I have to thank a Baltimore gal for pointing out some of the issues with these posts; I didn't agree entirely with her, but I sure can see some extra risk.

I see why girls who primarily see hobbyists would be suspicious of handles with no reviews, but I see a lot of first timers (probably because I'm such a rare flavor of gal) who don't usually post or write reviews.  It's one reason why I have a very low number of reviews despite having been a member since 2009.  Screening is a lady's job and while I definitely wouldn't go backchanneling an unknown guy a whole bunch of private information, there's no need to discourage newbies from contacting us.  Some of us make it very easy for newbies without prior reviews to visit with us, especially if someone is willing to provide their identity/employment screening information.  Most of us are happy to see gentleman without any reviews or posting history, which is why ad venues like Eros are so popular.  Almost  80% of my appointments from Eros are non-reviewing guys who provide identity/employment info and claim to be total newbies, whether they are or not.  

It's the ones who contact me with no references and "just don't feel comfortable" providing their employment info that raise red flags.  Why bother contacting me then?!  Lol.  I just wanted to encourage this gentleman because it sounds like he's ready to take the plunge and cough up that info, which is really all he needs to be off to a great start!  

Never a bad suggestion to tell them to read the newbie board tho!
