I've had many forays down to the Block in my lifetime.

I think you'd have a way better time if you go with someone who knows their way around the clubs.  They each have their pros and cons and it's like a living evolving organism - it changes constantly.

If your looking for a sure thing, stick to the well reviewed women of Baltimore.

Gentleman's gold club is north of the city.  Fantasies club is south of the city.  Not a lot of extras, but some hot girls in big nicely decoured clubs.

I'd rank Baltimore at a 2 out of 5.

Your options are:

A)  Normal strip club. Hands stay at your sides during over-priced dances.  You might get a little grind, but not a lot.  Low mileage.
B)  The Block.  Some mongers will sing the praises of this Baltimore institution, but I fail to see the attraction.  All the girls are either strung out, ugly, fat, or a combination of one or more.  On occasion, you'll find a gem in the rough, but plan to pay $8 a beer and get constantly harassed by the nasties while you look.  Even if you do find something that catches your eye, I'd be afraid of catching something else too.  

There is one private club on the East side that is the best place to go, but there's a $25 cover charge and dances are $30.

I have not been to Atlanta, but I assure you the Indiana, Florida, and Philly clubs are much more...friendly.  You won't find a Jacksonville dance in Baltimore, unless you go to the private club and pay the high price.

About the only cities worse than Baltimore are DC and Chicago.  Both are no touching at all, if "table dances" are even offered.

I've seen the Strip Club Scene at it's best AND at it's worst and right now we are about the middle.

We have clubs throughout Maryland that range from a 1 (lowest) to an 8/9 (on a scale of 10).  We may not have the quality clubs of Florida or Georgia, but you can have a GREAT time, see woman of various shapes, sizes, attractiveness and sexual activity.

In my opinion The Gentlemens Gold Glub on Route 40, Fantasies on Pennington Avenue and I'll even throw in the Millstream Inn in Woodlawn as the best of Maryland (excluding DC and PG County).

The "Block" strip clubs are all hit or miss based on day shift vs. night shift and weekday vs. weekend.

I've had great times (and really poor times) at The Hustler.  Ditto for Pussycat, Harem, Oasis, etc.

For these other guys to rate strip clubs based on one or two trips is a shame.

Take it from a Baltimore guy who has seen strip clubs from coast to coast, we are OK.  We have a LOT of them.  What you find in them will vary, but make the trip and see for yourself.  Go in open minded and look for a good time......you might just find it.

I have been going to the clubs since 1972. I have never ever like the ones on the block and will agree with the poster above that the girls there are NASTY looking and most are dirty dark holes in the walls (with the exception of overpriced Hustler).

I have had some great strip club times at the Gentlemans Gold Club on Pulaski Hwy and would return anytime. If your going to the clubs to get sex, don't waste your money. Go directly to a well reviewed Lady listed here on TER.

Another club I like is the Showplace Theater in Greenbelt,MD. It is a bit of a dive in an old house in an industrial part of town. But the lap dances are really grind them out fun in your lap.

The clubs in DC have dwindled over the years from the Hay Days of 14th street. They are mostly stand back and tip an dollar on stage. Will not return.
