Good place, good food, great service

Are there any good places to eat near BWI where the food is good, the service is good and maybe not a typical "chain" type of restaurant? Something that maybe just the "locals" know about and recommend?  Any recommendations from the ladies and gentlemen of Baltimore would be greatly appreciated.

G&M is a very old, and locally famous place for crab cakes etc. and is close....804 N Hammonds Ferry Road
