Your points are helpful. Talking to my pal last night, he was thinking about just forgetting the whole thing. He hasn't had to deal with this issue in other parts of the country or the world. I think we're all getting too hot under the collar over small issues.

Certainly there is a racial component to this that I brought up simply because OTHER PEOPLE put it in their preferences. I agree that whining about stupid shit like this is useless. Until the racist knuckle-draggers are (interracially) bred out of existence (and I say that as a white dude) we'll have to deal with their silly crap.

I thought hobbyists were supposed to help one another, and in that vein I was trying to help my friend. Asking an innocuous question ended up becoming a tempest in a teapot.
