I notice Its a quiet board but  I’m hoping someone can help me out... This will be my first time touring in New Orleans and l was wondering if you can suggest some of the best areas to host in (not specific hotels just areas)
I will be in town the week of NBA all star weekend so i would like to be somewhere convenient for clients.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Great hotels and food, near business and easily walkable to the quarter and Uber is easily available.  
Have fun I think I'll be in town for the week of Jazz Fest!

I assume most of your clients will be tourists, so the CBD or the French Quarter would probably be best.  They'll probably take a cab/Uber/whatever to see you.  

Now, if you're after the local guys, then that's probably the worst place to stay, because they probably won't be willing to deal with the shitshow that is downtown during a special event.  Driving, parking, etc. is torture when there are a ton of people in town for a big event like that.
