In this instance, I was looking for a girl on Cityvibe that I had seen before to check if her ad was still up. Reason being is that I called the booker's number and it did not ring. The phone was turned off and I got a message that voicemail was not set up. I was hoping she did not retire or otherwise take time off.
I searched Cityvibe and her ad indeed was no longer there. What I find odd is when I checked her TER profile and clicked on the link it took me right to the ad on Cityvibe? I've seen this happen before with other girls. Does anyone know why this happens or what it means? I suspect it may be more a technical question, but I'm not sure.
Well, just because there's not link on the site, doesn't mean the page doesn't exist somewhere on the CV server. I imagine they have a lot of turnover on ads, so much so they can't possibly delete everything. So they take the link off the appropriate page, remove it from the search parameters and leave it at that. If you still have the original URL, say via a TER listing, and the page still exists, you can still find it. It just won't be on CV's links, or Search results.
The reason that her cityvibe ad might still be up when you link to it through her TER post is that there might be a review posted with that cityvibe ad. Cityvibe leaves those ads active through the TER database, but not active in the searches on the Cityvibe site. hope that answers your question
If the lady lets her ad expire on Cityvibe but on her TER profile is still a link to her Cityvibe ad.Once the ad expires you will not be able to search Cityvibe site for the ad but the ad is still there via TER profile.On my profile I have a link for a Cityvibe ad the ad is not old but I have not renewed it so it is linked to my profile but not on Cityvibe ads if a person was searching for it.So,there you go not a technical problem hope this helps clear up the confusion.
