I was staying at hotel Tuesday night because I was visiting my best friend. While casually sipping on my Old Fashioned and reading the paper, waiting for her to arrive, two men at the bartop were having a laugh. One announced rather loudly that after his wife left him, he found the best remedy was to visit a bunch of hookers. The bartender and I had a chuckle, which the led the boisterous man to ask if I was prostitute. I nearly spit out my drink, blushed, and started laughing my ass off. Of course, I had to ask him why would he assume such a thing (I was in jeans and a sweater!).

He said it was the red lipstick and that I was 'pretty' enough to be one. Needless to say, I couldn't stop laughing.

Note to self: stop wearing red lipstick when out alone.

Note to self: continue wearing red lipstick when on dates.

If I were one, you could not afford me because of your alimony.
