am I missing something or are providers not very good at math. For example I saw a rate schedule of $250 for one hour, $300 for 90 minutes and $400 for 2 hours. Is that because she wants to incentivize guys to hang around for 90 minutes but doesnt want them around for 2 hours. Many other examples. Would be interested to hear if there was any other reason. Please dont respond it is their time and they can charge accordingly.
Providers unanimously would agree that a "rushed experience" is not pleasant. Starting from that premise, this rate structure indicates that she would rather a) have enough time to meet you and relax at the date b) that she is low volume and not a fan of one hour dates. I would say she loves 90 minutes, hence the incentive to charge 50 extra for 30 minutes over the hour instead of 125. A good marketing approach if you ask me, specially if she lives in a busy city where most would pay for the 90 and maybe stay the hour...
To sum it up short and sweet. It's excellent marketing. Liken it to going to the movies and buying the combo or the large soda/ popcorn. It is just more enticing than the small at a mere 1.50 difference.
Although I do understand that with companions its not 1.50 it may be 50 100 maybe even 1,000. It is not cut and dry math.
OMG I can be such a Mangina! But what really matters is the time spent, and is it reasonable for the fee? I'm not looking to buy Waygu Kobi beef by the gram. Did enough gram-based transactions back in the 80's that- never mind. Sorry.
I prefer longer time, so unless it's totally out of whack, I'm going for the 2 + hours. I do remember seeing an ad from a SoCal girl on tour in AZ with rates that were so insane she got called out by multiple folks wishing her the best of luck, but she should have done market research. Not only were they stupidly high, it was also $x for 60min, 2x for 90min and 3x for 120min.
That provider may be trying to push guys to 90 minutes.
What I've heard from more than one provider is that they like even amounts: nothing ending in $25, $75, or maybe even $50. In the case you note, maybe she didn't want to charge $325 for 90.
