Hi Kate,

I have been quite a few times with industry friends over the years. It was at Sardos for a long time then moved to the Corner Bar in Woodland Hills, where it kind of died down except for a few hardcore regulars (maybe a dozen people). I have not been since it moved back to Sardos. It used to be very good.

A few of the dudes were excellent singers. Not so much the ladies. As we both know, you will have a great time wherever you are. Go for it.

I used to go to Sardo's when it was under the original owner. It was wonderful. Then the husband died, the wife eventually sold the restaurant to a new guy who is a total shit! Raised prices, charges cover fees for Tuesday and every other night. Sardos was famous for their 1 1/2 drinks - for the price of a single drink. This jerk "new owner" dumped that right away, and lost most of 25 years worth of clients.

Might be tempted to go there for "Porn Star Karaoke" if it looked worthwhile.

Any comments?
