I'm in the SF Valley so I don't have to deal with this today, but my heart goes out to all of you and your poor cars who have to suffer for the sake of bureaucracy.

Hope this helps a little. I know it does not help much.

The westside was a disaster on his last visit and this promises to be worse with him going from Culver City to Brentwood.

this had to be the most idiotic thing - they closed beverly hills and century city for him.  i saw it because i got in early, and walked to a starfux.  all of a sudden, roads are closed and traffic builds for an hour - meantime, i am sitting there watching the motorcade being readied - they take him down santa monica boulevard?  idiots, there are only like a million high rises there, and way too much arterial traffic.  he lost my vote - jackass bush did this once in LA and never came back and this mule comes and does it twice?
