why I will not get iphone

So my S.O. is getting suspicious that I'm deleting the history on my cell phone's call log. Of course, I deny it, but I've also stopped calling providers from my cell phone on the off chance that I may forget to clear my history someday and my S.O. does some private investigating. Then I would really be screwed.

I suppose I could buy a pre-paid phone, but then how would I explain that to my S.O. if she finds it? Are there any other options available that I'm not aware of? Please help, I'm going through GFE withdrawals.

Just deleting the calls to and from the provider rather then the whole call log.

You could always get a prepaid phone but like you said...She could always find it. Could you keep it at work?

Good luck!

Xoxo,

Natalie

Prepaid is the best.  Second best is to disguise the provider phone number with a friend's contact info (eg. SensualNatalie would become NateDogg).  Same goes for txt msgs.

"Honey, I'm meeting up with Nate for Happy Hour."

I hide my phone all over the place, usually in some weird, out-of-the-way area in my car.  Yeah, I even hid my fuck fone under my son's baby seat, just so my son will know that his daddy is a big-time manslut.  Fo sho, lil man...this fuck fone will one day be yours!

The iphone has a few problems for those of us that hobby! It will not allow selective call deletes and it has a stupid "pop up" text window. Although you can inhibit the message on the text the name and number still pops up. A number of my business associates and many of my friends will not leave blackberry only because of these two reasons. Mainly the text issue. I know that Apple has been contacted about this and refuses to give the customer the option to have the pop up messages or NOT. As long as they refuse to fix this many business men will stay with blackberry. Pretty short sited on Apples part. I often wonder how many relationships have gone awry and ended in divorce because of this iphone " dysfunction".

I still do not know the best prepaid phone without a paper trail. Any suggestions?

Just so you know, you can delete all your calls or logs on your phone but your phone bill still have the details, not to mention your phone company as well (you would need a court order to get the company records).

For prepaid cell, which is recommended, the records are less accessible although phone company records still exists.  You still have to clear your call history plus the presence of another phone may tip off your s.o.

Same for the refill cards.

Leave no tracks.

As far as where to keep the hobby phone where the SO won't find it?  I keep mine tucked away in my crotch.  She never gets near the area.

It's a free service and works with any phone...

You'll get a new (additional) number and it will basically forward calls and texts to/from your phone. However, you can disable the "phone" integration at any time and just respond to texts (and calls) through the webpage, and the recipient wouldn't know the difference.

Deleting history from google is easy and straightforward.

If you do enable calls to your phone, they appear to come from a different number; when you make a google voice call/text (from your cell) you're actually calling the google call bank and they are forwarding the call to who you want to reach. So, an investigation (cell bill, etc.) would only point to the google numbers.

It has now been discovered that your 3G-enabled Apple devices are tracking your every move, but for now, that information is not being shared.  The data, localized to both your iDevice and your iTunes-installed computer, contains tracking information (timestamped).  This pretty much sucks if the SO ever finds out about this.

This topic is also being discussed on the General Board.  Good luck and keep safe!

Don't use Google Voice! that is the one company that has all info on us, so know you want to share the call log with them? what if the wife hired a private dick to build a case on you?! the dick would hack your google account in a second and have all that the logs that were hidden in plain site.

Here is the manual:

1) unregistered phone with prepaid cards: buy a mobile at one of the independent cellphone stores, not a carrier. get prepaid cards. Always use CASH, never credit card.  Leave the phone in the office, and try not to have it in the car, unless your are on the way to a rendezvous.  Never bring it home!

2) Some ladies communicate via email only so open an new email account for discreet correspondence without your name on it and delete the emails frequently.  Try to use the least amount of identifying details in the email, If your names is Garry, write Barry; you'll sort out the small mix up anyway and in any case the most important thing for the lady is your TER handler and references, if you're Barry or Garry its all good. And don't connect the account to your smartphone!

3) When you log on to check the email account make sure that you are using either Firefox Private Prowsing or Google Chrome Incognito window (my favorite), they don't save browsing info.

4) Always have another normal webpage open or a normal tab so you can switch the screen if someone is coming.  Alt+Tab to switch browsers, Ctrl+Tab to switch tabs, and Alt+F4 to close down the browser.

5) If you are using credit card for TER use a prepaid one.

6) If you want to go the distance to total anonymity PM me

By the way, I am not married, I just have a semi-criminal mind ;-) good hobbying

Get a pay-as-you-go phone for your car.  Better yet, buy 2, one for you and one for your S.O.  Put it in both of your cars, in the spare tire well.  Then there is nothing to hide!

Get an iPhone and jailbreak it. Both of those "problems" (as you see them) are solved.

Then get a Google Voice # and you can even hide the app.

Also, use BiteSMS and you can "hide" SMS conversations on a per recipient basis. (password protected)

and made accessible to prying eyes, I'll stick to what I know.  TOS is just legalese to screw you over now and later, sometimes without lube.  I'm sure I already signed over my soul somewhere in the past, maybe when I ran DOS or bought the Atari 2600.  You are correct that this is not limited to Cupertino.  I'm going to leave all devices at work and take the bus to my next date.

these prepaid credit cards aren't any better than a normal one are they, since you still have to input your own personal info to the card?

I'm partial to the downtown k-girl providers, as they're more convenient and the bang-for-the-buck ratio is usually pretty high, and most of them do their booking by phone. Although I may have to ask my usual bookers if email is an option.

Once again, though, I wanna thank everyone for their suggestions.

Take the battery out of your phone.  No power = no way to be tracked.

An excuse would be, the phone ran out of juice while I was using it and did not have a car charger with me.
