My birthday is in a couple days, and I always try to make my birthday the most special day of my year. But I'm so new here to LA and California, that I have not really had time to consider how to celebrate it. It's coming up fast on me now, and I want to go somewhere, see something amazing, and just make it a very memorable day. Was thinking to drive up the coast, but if there are some things around here that are spectacular, I may stay here. Never been to Mexico! But can you take a feline over the border? He is my travel companion
Have a good weekend. I'll be starting my b-day celebration on sunday. This would also be a great time to have that clown orgy! A Clown orgy birthday party would be brilliant. With Naked pie throwing contests even!

No shortage of great places to celebrate your birthday. Going north, my favorites are Santa Barbara, beautiful beaches, good food, art and music. Ojai is another favorite quiet, great boutique shopping (Ojai Valley Inn is very comfy) and  wine tasting. Going south, Del Mar, La Jolla and of course San Diego.

You could probably take your companion across the border but you may have trouble bringing her/him back.

. . . And yes there is the clown orgy - naked pie throwing?

There's so much to enjoy right here. In no particular order...

1) The Getty Museum
2) Any of our lovely beaches
3) The Griffith Observatory
4) Disneyland
5) The Huntington Library and Gardens
6) Any number of great hikes

And I have my clown outfit all picked out...hope you won't mind one "evil" clown!

You could also go to San Diego or Catalina if you are looking for a little adventure out of LA. Happy Burthday to you!!! Xo

Happy Birthday Cameo!

Change the hair color again to red. I like the orchid too, but change is nice and it's a new year. Later the ocean sounds nice and healthy dinner. Thankyou for the birthday wishes and suggestions. One day this week I'll see the Joshua trees too. Bought myself a Chinese instrument since my birthday fell on the Chinese new year. I have lots of praticing to do, so I'll be able to serenade my guests a bit if they wish
