Sometimes I call a new provider if I've seen her ads for awhile and she has some reviews, and sometimes I've TOFTT, but when calling the numbers, I never, ever discuss anything that might cause a problem. I've had a few providers ask on the phone, "What are you looking for?" to which I usually answer that I just want to hang out, or talk about football and I've even said, "I like you to massage my feet while you tell me naughty stories." I don't think any of those things are problematic from a LE POV. I figure if the woman on the other end of the phone is LEO, she probably wouldn't agree to just hanging out and she most likely won't agree to massaging my feet anyway. A legit provider wouldn't turn down a paying customer that just wants a foot massage and some dirty stories, so this seems pretty safe. Also, it actually seems pretty kinky to me.
A long time ago I met a hobbyist who told me he always carried a bible in his car and his Universal Life Church minister card, so if confronted by LEO he would say that he was there to save the poor woman's soul. Not sure how well that would work, but what are some hypothetical safe approaches you've heard that people have used to avoid getting stung?
"Professional lady of leisure" is awesome - I should have been more clear though. I was trying to understand what clients can say in that opening conversation that doesn't cross the line into "solicitation" territory in the event the lady we're talking to happens to be police officer that has placed the ad.
