Hey guys ... so I've been hiding under a rock for awhile, looks like a lot of things have changed?  Is everyone being moderated now ... there aren't any posts for half a day.

Any of the old crew still around?

Cheers,
FP

...almost every thread to the topic of K-girls and attacking non K-girl providers as jealous and unable to compete with the K-girls.  This caused many providers and hobbyists to stop posting on the L.A. board.

They also attacked hobbyists who dared to gainsay how wonderful K-girls are.  In fact, one such K-fan kept referring to me as a "paper clown."  I still haven't figured out what that means.  I can only assume it's a literal translation from his native language and something got lost in translation.  Since English is a second language for me, I can relate to that as it happened to me too until I was smarter than a fifth grader.

Then TER got into a fight with the most popular advertising site of the K-girls (and non K-girls) because they wanted to start having reviews too.  TER naturally refused to allow links in profiles to that site and so panic and anger set in among the K-fans.  They stomped their feet and wrung their hands wondering what would become of their precious K-girls.

I assured them that everything would be okay once the K-bookers started advertising in a forum that was acceptable to TER.  "No" cried the K-fans, "we want everything to be the way it was."

Lo and behold, a new website was created just for K-girls!  And not only does it advertise K-girls acceptably to be linked to TER profiles, it also has a discussion board where you can discuss all things K.

So the K-fans lived happily ever after but this board hasn't recovered yet.

As far as moderation goes, you've been gone so long that you have become moderated.  If you post for a while, you can request to be un-moderated.

filmproducer - consider this to be a treatment.  Please shop it around and let me know if there is any interest.  It's already been in turnaround but I think now the time is right.

I'm not certain what happened, however, the last time I checked, they were no longer posting.

Very nice treatment BigPapasan ... and now I'm enlightened.

As I recall, the train started running off the tracks when the discussion boards were fragmented into two different sections (ad board).  What kept me coming to the "discussion" and contributing was the opportunity to shares tales of adventure in see new tail splash themselves into the scene.  It was an extraordinary time to be a hobbyist  ... we actually used to compete to see who could discover new talent (and take the credit).  A post of an unreviewed girl would pop up and somebody within a matter of hours would agree to TOFT ... win, lose or draw ... we had to know the truth.  I eventually folded my cards on the horse race, when GirlCrazy went globetrotting on an eastern europe on a mission to write 100 reviews in 30-days.

Oh the days of crazy Dave (founder of TER) and his wild ways ... despite all the drama, it was an amazingly entertaining community.

And now I officially feel old at 40, as I truly understand the meaning of Nostalgia.

though I doubt you would recognize most posters--there was a big turnover about a year ago for various reasons and new people stepped in. I rather like the separation of ads from commentary, but that seems to lessen the amount of comments.

Hey filmproducer, I remember those days of TOFTT and discovering new talent and sharing it. So many good providers were discovered that way that wouldn't have had a chance otherwise. I wonder how many wonderful girls are out there without any reviews that are worth their weight in gold. Unfortunately, and thanks to the IRS, it'll be a while before I get to go play outside.

"crazy Dave" is a name I've not heard in some time.  I'm sure he is much happier over seas.

I think there is plenty of blame to go around regarding the negativity associated with the kgirl threads, and I think both the lovers and haters agreed there shoud be a seperate place dedicated to the kgirls (which thankfully there now is).

40 is not too bad at all these days if you take care of yourself.

TER used to be fun.  I have no idea where all the hot girls went anyway.

I miss all the college girls that used to post on craigslist to pay their bills in a pinch.

I got into a ltr and when that broke I stuck with wom utr girls.

Good to see you again bro -- all the OGs seem to be gone.

Jimmy Dean ...  Damn glad to see you man!  Last I heard, you were zipping around the valley chasing $100 TGTBT's ... and half the time you'd strike gold!  You put my earlier exploits to shame bro!

Cheers,
FP
