Searching the reviews came across something interesting. A provider receives 60% of her 10-10 scores from members that just submitted one review, and one review only, over a year and the rest from reviewers that have less than 5. All of these reviewers claim they searched and searched TER for a great provider and finally they found this one. What is amazing is how these reviewers who are new members could see the scores and choose? or as a matter, see what the provider offers?? All the reviews are written with the same style, and all attesting how great she is. Interestingly, everybody else has scored her 8 or 9 and every time there is a low score, a 10-10 appears from a new member. So, next time watch when you see reviews, click and see how many reviews the reviewer has, if it is one, best to ignore it.
Personally, I do not explore reviews of any provider with less than 20 reviews, majority has to come from reviewers with couple of years history. I had this particular provider under observation for the past couple of months to determine wether I should see her. So this is how my evaluation came about.
The objective of this post is not to put the provider out of business or embarrass her, but just to indicate that we Hobbyists are not Dumb and can read. Further more, for her to discontinue this trend. If she or her friends continue to post these reviews , then I have no choice to name her, and let you guys decide if my evaluation is correct. Who knows, I might be wrong and its not right to accuse someone. For now, Just watch the One review Hobbyists and 10-10 scores, for your own benefit. It is just very strange that most of these high scores come from new members with one review only and almost a year has passed with them not submitting any more reviews!
Along the same note, I can't tell you the number of suspect reviews I come across. I tend to play in the the Asian sandbox, and there's a lot of BS going on. I'm pretty sure some of the reviewers are shills, others just do a review once in a while to continue their free membership -- and not necessarily actually having seen the girls they reviewed. I believe there are a lot of LURKERS who do not actually partake in the hobby, they just live out a fantasy by writing a review. I can't rely on reviews except from reviewers I personally know and trust, or reviewers with a solid history that are objective. There's a few hobbyists who have become friends that I just exchange PMs with for real information.
I'm sure you're right, some providers probably do "stir the pot" if they're not getting much notice on the boards. If they get a new review, their profile goes right up to the top for us hobbyists to read when we click on that "new reviews" tab. I know you are talking about one specific provider, but I think this probably happens more often than one thinks. Gals are trying to make money in this tough economy . Business is definitely down in the "luxury" area.
The best way to look at a reviewing process, whether it is movies, food, or providers is the following. You throw out the best and worst reviews and work with the ones in the middle as that is probably where the experience will be.
I think a more fair analysis would be to look at the gals most current and consistent scores' from reviewers with history. If the overall scores are good or not so good , why choose the ones in the middle as the final judgement.
Restaurants may hire a new chef, change the menu and quality may go up or down. Provides may pick up their game or not. Maybe they lose weight or gain weight or learn how to be a better companion or not.
