Why don't you just get the doctor's prescription...it will either indicate the number of refills or simply say "may be refilled." Sounds like maybe someone has cracked down on him for a violation. Viagra, Levitra and all the rest are only supposed to be available via prescription. What do you have against getting the prescription?

Next time you have a check-up or otherwise need to see the doctor ask for a prescription with 3 refills and from then on it should only require a ph to the Doctor's office to get it renewed. I've done it for 2 years now but for Cialis.
