why the board is suddenly being perceived as being unfriendly to providers.

Now, the GD Board, that's a different story.  That place is unfriendly to everybody that isn't in the club, and both men and women are abused on a equal basis.  I rarely visit that board anymore as a result.

But that really isn't the case here, so I don't know why providers would feel it's an unfriendly environment.  There was one exception that I can recall that upset Amsterdam after she posted on the wrong day, but that was just one guy, and a dozen others stepped forward and told her how much they appreciated her efforts.

As much as I love the Tu/Thursday threads, participation benefits the ladies as much as it does we men who appreciate seeing their pictures.  As Amsterdam states every week, it doesn't count against your one ad link per week, so it's a bonus opportunity for a little visibility.  So I think everybody wins in that situation.
