I have made a few friends in this hobby both providers and hobbyists and one has become a very influential person to me.  When I first started looking on the boards I found a Mentor if you will.  Someone's whose posts made sense and reviews were very original. Through PM's and emails we got to know each other.  We shared stories, wines ,movies and safe guards.  Thank god he talked me into getting a hobby phone!  My ass would be in deep water right now!
