I received numerous emails today from a new agency, that has basically copied our website design structure and much of the word content from our website.  I just wanted to make sure it is WELL KNOWN this company is NOT associated with Le VIP Collection, I do not know the owner and I have already contacted her in regards to the plagiarism, considering our site is copyrighted.

When you have a good format people are always going to copy some. Its all part of business all types of business. You just gave them more exposure.

Agreed Emy, But I really do appreciate that she made the effort to clarify the situation. Even at a little bit of her own expense I believe she made the better option by posting this. I respect her choice here....

Have your lawyer contact them.  

I dont see anything that looks like its been copied.
They seem to be more literate and educated in there homepage text then your copyrighted website.
Writing negative things about another business because you feel threatend they will take your clients is not professional.

The owner is connected internationaly and uses correct grammer on her website...considering le vip are no good with grammar and spelling how on earth does she copy you.

I contacted the agency after posting this, they apologized and began fixing their website almost immediately last night and for that I thank them for taking the initiative to fix the problem.

I don't see how you could even view my post as negative or taking a stab at them.  I was simply pointing out that we are not associated with them.  Way to take a post and turn it into something negative.  There's no jealousy here so do not assume or post ignorantly.  I in no way said anything negative about the company, only that our site was copied last night and we are not associated.  So please do, tell me how I was posting negatively about them?  I'm all ears

Unfortunately that bad habit of texting short-hand creeps into our general communications. Thus on cel phone texting they use your for you're, ur for your, b4 for before, 2go for to go, RU for are you, etc.

in my opinion i think gina's little secret has a better copyright infringement case than le vip colleciton against agency provacative.

All the sites were made by cutie-tools. Stock photos are being used on both the LA agency sites in basic advertisement page  which is probably open for anyone's use. GLS is an ad mall and the other 2 sites are agency's. I'm sure copyrights being affected were with their initial text.

It does not come off jealous when I am contacted by gentlemen informing me of the problem, tell me to post on the boards and contact the company to change their site.  All I was doing was informing.  Take it how you will, but just what exactly do I have to be jealous of?  I have a successful company and our site was copied, even if it was by accident.  So please do, tell me how that makes me jealous?

Stock photos are used for Design, but you also have to understand, they are purchased.  Meaning I own the licensing to use them for design.  The other site does not.

I just heard about them, they look pretty killer. They did a great job in their website imo. I'm thinking about trying them out, has anybody used them before? Sorry if this has been covered already.
