It isn't customary for an assistant to receive a gift from a client, though today I did.  Just wanted to put it out into the ether and say thank you.  Some gentlemen are so thoughtful!  A $100 amazing gift card goes farther then one would think!

Question for the ladies and gents:  What is the most thoughtful gift you have given to, or received from someone in the industry?

...to replace my old phone (below).  For some reason she said I needed it.

one long time independent gave her a Tiffany Bracelet.    another whom i know lived alone in modest apartment i bought her a really nice bed comforter and silk Tommy Bahama Robe.    

my more recent "gifts"  were things like spa massages / spa days.
