Local LE gets involved when there are citizen complaints and/or local politicians want to assert their moral position. AMPs are visible targets because they are out in the open and usually in not great areas. There were widespread crackdowns 5 years ago, but they still flourish, but the quality has declined because the younger/hotter girls went into AAMPs. Breaking point? Cityvibe has existing for years. If there was concern by LE, it would have shut down by now. AAMPs are a world of difference from AMPs. The volume is much less than an AMP since there are only 1 or 2 girls in the apt. The entrance is discreet and they are not openly advertising at the apt. (no neon signs at the door). The point is that no one is raising a fuss about the growing number of "k girl" ads (if they are being tracked as such) and they are not "bothering" their neighbors or causing embarassment in the communities they are located.
The way I look at it is once in the K-kingdom something opens up that is special. Most of these chicks if you see them on the street would turn your head sideways. In my opinion the ones I have seen are in the 8 to 10 range and I would beg you to disagree, especially the 90 day wonders. We here in the LA hobby have been truely blessed by these wonderful ladies and the great service they provide. I have been in the hobby for many years and the quality and service has just gotten so much better over the years, the dolls we have now are just fantastic that I just wanted everyone to give a great shout out to them. Whether ATF's who have been here along time or the 90 day treasures it is all good.
L.A. has some wonderful natural treasures -- the beaches, the mountains, the near-perfect weather -- but all of them pale in comparison to the beauty of the k-girls. They are the angels of Los Angeles!
This K-phenomenon seems to get bigger and bigger. Some of these famous buildings have become nests of K-girls with dudes lining up at the top of the every hour to buzz in. There was a story going around on the boards about a guy that was harassing mongers on the way in to a famous K-dorm, etc.
As of this posting, there are 90 girls barking "Available NOW!" in LA on Cityvibe. It's not even lunchtime.
Certainly this trend will reach a breaking-point where the law gets involved.
What do you think? Are we nearing this point? Or will the LAPD content itself with the street and craigslist scene?
Just because you see the available now up doesnt men you will get seen right away. Its a good marketing tool, you may have to sign up for a later time slot.
The point is...anyone "investigating" a suspected rise in prostitution may be alarmed to see so much brazen advertising. I am not saying that we are there yet. I am saying that the trend is concerning. There is always a breaking point.

Agree 100% that we are blessed. I saw one of the B tier girls recently (top 15 but not top 5 imo) with a string of great reviews and she said that it's been pretty slow for her. I think the flood of constant talent is either going to result in lower or at least steady rates, or in a slowdown of new talent coming through. I called for a nooner and was told that I'd have to wait because she wasn't in yet today. In other words - no early appointments. I asked her if she had read her reviews, and she said, "only first part - I don't have membership".
