Message mostly for Dr. Gonzo, but may help others.
Do you make an appt with AIM Sherman Oaks or just show up?  $310 for comprehensive tests, pay buy check or credit card?  Does TMZ hangout there? Not that I'm news worthy...

I usually call ahead to make sure they aren't busy, but it's never taken more than 30 minutes once I'm there. I also make sure to go when its less likely to be busy. First come first served.

I usually just pay cash. Never seen TMZ or any other press when I've gone, but like I said, I go during slow-time, when its less likely the wanna-be-celebrity types are there tweeting their location.

They have signs up about not soliciting the porn stars or something but I still get asked, "Don't I know you?" by some weirdo every time I go.

I love AIM, ask for some safe sex tips if only for the fun replies & extras they will give you!  I learned a lot at that place, LOL!
They also offer Hep B vaccinations.
Be prepared to see your favorite porn stars in their ponytails & workout clothes :)

Go early in the day and the middle of the month. I am there every month and yes, prices went up slightly. The staff are always very helpful.

In order to verify those results, you would have to have some type of involvement with AIM. AIM does maintain a database in regards to people in the industry but that does not work for the general public. People in the industry consent to the release of that info but only for use within in the industry.

If you expand it to this, it would be more work than what it is worth.  You would have to associate your screen name to your test results. In order for this to work, AIM would have to maintain your id on file to verify it is you for every test and associate that test with your screen name.  Even with your consent, HIPPA laws would not allow AIM to release that info or provide access to patient info to the general public.

Instead, just ask the lady if she uses AIM or gets tested regularly. Better yet, get tested together and share your results.
