Astonishing results:

The equivalent of asking how many would be willing to play Russian roulette or walk a high wire 1,000 up without a net.

Are we really this reckless?

Clearly the answer is yes, at least for a large number of members who participated in that poll. I'm not sure why BBFS is such a taboo subject on TER. It's obviously a very common practice. You roll the dice, you take your chances. Guys go bareback with civvie girls all the time, and they have no idea how many partners those girls have been with. Chick could be fucking the entire scout team of the San Diego Chargers for all you know. Or she could be a provider right now and you'd never know it unless she told you.

I am actually astounded to hear that top end providers sometimes agree to go BBFS.  So stupid!  Maks me mad!

I can't believe that people still believe that poll, and quote it. It is not a scientific poll. Anyone with access to the internet can vote in it. You can vote as often as you wish. Just the other day on my smart phone I voted 200 times in a row, just by hitting the back button each time after voting. I watched the vote tally numbers go up by 1 each time, then somewhere around 180 the percentage changed by 1%. The numbers have gone back and forth a few times. At one time it was up to 46% "hell yeah", then it went down to 35% and the "no f'ing way" side was 37%, then it started going the other way again. My hunch is that there is a bunch of bbfs supporters who vote repeatedly to skew the results. Who knows, there might even be a bunch of guys on some other website encouraging it, kind of like the "vote for the worst" website for American Idle. Of course when there were fewer total votes it was a lot easier to skew the results. When it was at 3000, it would only take 30 votes (10 guys voting 3 times each) to change the results 1 %. Now it takes a lot more votes to change it, but still pretty easy to do.

Does bbfs happen? of course it does! Would some guys (and gals even) favor it? Certainly. However my gut instinct, and reading all the anti bbfs posts on the various boards would lead me to believe that actual poll results (if a poll was scientifically conducted) would be much lower. I am just taking a wild stab myself but I bet it is more like 25% would be on the "hell yeah" side. In my opinion that is still too much, but it just drives  me batty when I see posts that say stuff like "The numbers don't lie." "Look at the poll results." News flash: The numbers do lie. Big time. It's time to take the poll down.

Deep down, far below cogent, cognizant, rational thought and reason lies a primal "Get the job DONE!"
