Any sensory deprivation intensifies the other senses.  Blindfolding and ear plugs can really increase other sensations.  I agree that it's really fun and adds an interesting dimension to the action!  Even though I'm not really a domme, I do love to explore creative modes of sensuality and love to blindfold and/or earplug my lovers if they are into it while I am overloading their senses via some expert prostate work.  I think it intensifies an already intense set of sensations in a really incredible way!
