Like any service industry, the tip will depend on the service. But figure $50 is a 20% tip on a $250 bill, not unreasonable?

The letters mean To Insure Promptness which  relates to good service.
It's usually for waiters, barbers and bellhops who don't make much money
and need those tips.  A K-girl on the other hand makes thousands of dollars
a week and could care less for the mere $30 or $50 tip.
If a tip is given it should be  for service above and beyond
what we as hobbyists would normally expect. That my friends is
up to the individual but don't think that the extra money will get you anything
more than what you have been getting. If you give it, it should be for what

$135,000 per year. (Assuming your numbers are accurate for arguments sake.) I'd guess most guys who hobby on a regular basis make at least that much or more. This is a very expensive hobby.

If you consider what the ladies have to do for that money, I'd say they are underpaid. Especially the ones who stay in Los Angeles and don't go back to Korea after 3 months. $135K is hardly considered rich in this town. That's solidly middle class and forget trying to buy a house in West LA on that. A small condo, maybe.

I always tip. Don't know if it makes any difference, but I feel better about it. 250 is such a bargain compared to what I was paying outside the kgirl scene and most of the time the experience is superior to all others. 300 total is nothing compared to what we are receiving (IMHO).

i have bought small gifts on very rare, RARE occasions. a gratuity is mainly for that waiter/waitress/ other tipped employee that makes less then $3/hr and lives off of tips. if i get good service, i will repeat. don't get me started on the tip jar at starbucks...

It's a bit of dillemma.... a lot of guys repeat with their favorite girl probably dozens or two dozen times.   Don't have a problem with tipping, but it could get really expensive if you're doing every time while repeating that many times.  The price is low enough where you can repeat a ton of times...but something to think about if you have to tip on top of that.

A lot of them come back for second tours...and don't seem to be all that loaded.  Eitehr they're spending it or not making as much as we think.

The top girls make double that as they are always booked up plus if you add in tips you are getting into the $300k/year range ($200k if they work 8 months).  If you also assume that this is tax free then a comparable full time salary would be 1/2mil.  Not bad for payday for someone n their 20s.

I've certainly heard of at least one kgirl who loves going on spending/shopping sprees.  For some, the more money they make the more they spend.  That's the same for anyone.  Too bad, some of these girls making a ton of dough do not have someone to help them with their money or just don't have the sense to save it.

I guess there are a number of LA guys who have money to burn.  I understand that these guys are used to rip off price from non K escorts and think $250 is a great deal.  As I stated before, $200 is the norm for K girls in SF Bay Area.  We don't need to spoil these girls by giving extra money which won't bring better service anyhow.    I already hate paying $50 extra compared to guys up north.

Here, in Los Angeles, $250 IS a great deal.  A steal, even, with their good looks and the performance given.  Pricing is set at what the market will bear.   You know prices in supermarkets and department stores, for instance,  vary even in and around Los Angeles.  You'll pay more for items in areas like Beverly Hills and Santa Monica than you would in say East L.A. or Panorama City.  That's just how it goes.  

When I visited Durango, CO I was shocked at how cheap prices were for drinks at this one bar.  It was awesome!  I paid $8 or$ 9 for 2 drinks that normally runs me about $18 here before tip.  It was a wonderful feeling.  But, the cost of everything is more here.  I'm not going to move to Durango to save money on drinks or move to SF to save $50 on Kgirl sessions.

I can't see complaining about cheaper rates in a city hundreds of miles away from me, even though that city generally is more expensive.  Sure, I'd love to pay $50 less, but I also don't believe that we are being ripped off by paying $250.  It is silly to think so.  I have friends who've been to Thailand and can get a girl for $50-$100 for an entire week!  By your reasoning everyone who hobbies in the USA is getting ripped off.

Actually, SF Bay Area has higher income per capita than greater LA area.  I will not even waste my time comparing LA to Durango, CO or Thailand.  I make compelling comparisons not apple to watermelon types of comparisons. SF guys demand better deals and they are getting better one than LA.  LA guys just don't know any better and acting like $250 is the greatest deal in the world.  I am not saying $250 is a rip off but its not exactly a bargain either. That extra $50 means SF guys are getting an extra session for every 4 sessions compared to LA.  I don't know about some of you guys, but I would love to get that extra session for every 4 sessions.

Instead we are talking about tips which only will make girls more jaded.  We are already paying enough and I don't want to see tips becoming a norm in the scene.

You could make an argument that they are like professional athletes. Their looks, physical abilities, and willingness to do the job can only last so long. They may earn a lot in their prime years (or maybe just a few prime months). Then they are replaced by hotter & younger.

I couldn't agree with you more Asianprince! It seems just a few years ago SF had the majority of the Kgirls, but now LA does, of course because of the price increase here. I too do not tip and would no like to see the kgirls start expecting a tip at the end.
