A lot of good points were brought up in the previous posts below about the lack of substantive posts here on the LA board. It's not easy coming up with something to discuss here I must admit.
So, here's my question. If your ATF was coming to LA to visit you, what restaurants and or clubs would your recommend? I mention both as there may be some here who prefer one over the other. Any thoughts from both providers and hobbyists?

I live in W.Hollywood and my favorite place is Frankie's on Melrose.  It is the best Italian food I have ever had.  Intimate atmosphere with a great staff.  After you are done with dinner you can just go a few blocks down and find a wide variety of clubs/lounges.  If you don't like one place it is just a hop, skip and a jump to another.  I recommend taking a cab, though.

I would cook her dinner at my house.  We'd start in the kitchen, catch up on each other's lives while I prepare an elegant table and steal a few intermittent kisses, cuddles and hugs while a few nice tunes played in the background.  We polish off a bottle of nice wine as I prepare either a Macadamia nut crusted halibut or baked Alaskan salmon with Mango sauce; wild rice and steamed broccoli; fresh sour dough bread; and for dessert sherried peaches with a scoop of Haagan Das vanilla bean ice cream.  Then we would take our wine glasses to the living room, where we would get more comfortable, a little more heavy making out and playful petting.  Finally we would retire up stairs to my giant bed where the only limit is our imaginations.

in Palos Verdes. Then a drive up the coast to Old Tony's on Redondo Beach Pier for a nice seafood dinner and a few more drinks at the upstairs bar. Great view. Then, depending on the mood, club-hopping in Hermosa Beach. Hey, I'm a beach-loving kind of guy!
