So after an extended hiatus away from the hobby I'm looking to get back into it.  Since returning there are a bunch of lovely providers out there that I'm eager to spend time with.  However...  I feel that I have a bit of a dilemma.  

As you are all very much aware providers nowadays require a verification process of either checking references or checking employment.  Many didn't require that much verification, if at all to set up an appointment when I started back in '03/'04.  I'm very willing to give references of past providers I've visited with but they have pretty much all moved on from providing.  So no references for me to give out.  I'm not very keen on giving out personal information.  I do have a dozen or so reviews of past providers if that means anything.  

So my question is how does someone in my situation start over again??  Setting up an appointment without references or personal info to give.  Would I be able to meet with providers on the strength of past reviews??  Am I making a bigger deal than it is??  Or am I SOL??

because anyone can write a review, and it tells us nothing about 1.) whether or not you're law enforcement, or 2.) whether or not you're safe, respectful, STD-free, not a serial killer, etc. I only look at a client's past reviews to get an idea of what he likes, an understanding of how he views and interacts with providers, and to see what types of providers he books (age, donation bracket, body, reputation, etc.). However, all this is interpreted with more than a grain of salt because it's only one side of the story. I need provider references for the other side, or employment/basic personal information at the very least. Whitelists are helpful but reviews alone probably won't help you book ladies from TER.  

Yes, you can still find some women on BP and whatnot who don't screen, but then you might be compromising your safety as well. Have you considered signing up with a service like P411, who discreetly screen you via employment, and then seeing the women on there who will accept that level of verification?

Otherwise, you might just have to choose one or two ladies (whom you trust to be discreet with your personal info) to be reference providers while you build your hobbyist rep back up. Either way, good luck & stay safe!

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my questions.  Definitely have no desire to seek out a provider on BP.  As safe as P411 is believed to be it is not absolutely safe, nothing is.  Databases are vulnerable to intrusions.

I may take the leap and go the route you suggested and try out a few providers with my info in order to re-establish myself within the hobby.  

It sucks starting over...

I am sorry but you are wrong about the reviews part HarloweDahl.  Some providers don't mind reviews and as long as they can verify you with the other providers a person has seen in the recent past. It should not be a problem and not all providers think very little of a person ter reviews. Most of them welcome it and all you have to do is check out the providers personal website!

I said very clearly 'reviews mean little FOR VERIFICATION PURPOSES,' as in screening. I wasn't at all referring to whether or not providers welcome or mind reviews; I was speaking only in terms of verifying someone's identity. You said yourself that they mean something coupled with provider references; I agree and said so in my post- I was speaking only about the merit of reviews alone. No need to be so defensive!!

Get yourself verified.  Then you have a basis to start a conversation with a lady.  They can also provide referrals that won't expire.

HarloweDahl, I was not begin defensive or upset baby.  I was just making clear my position on the matter.  

I don't have a problem with refences and basically backing up what you were saying, but in a more direct matter.  Some of what you mention could have been taken two ways, but it's no problem on my end.  

Just remember, everybody experience is different in this hobby and it's up to each person to find what works for them!

In mid 2011 when I jumped back in after a 7 year break I was in the same boat. Though 2-3 girls from the old days were still around so I saw one of them initially. Another remembered me enough via email to act as a reference for a new girl and that slowly got the ball rolling again.  

I also did my research and put girls who seemed 'newbie' friendly on the top of my list for a while. Sometimes timing is on your side and you may catch a girl who needs the business and if you're already a VIP TER member they may take a minor risk on you. Just don't bank on this. I hobby infrequently so sometimes even what references I do have eventually no longer work as well or I've had the 'bad' luck to see a girl who's not very reachable or retires early and again doesn't work as well as a reference. Although I've made a point to ask the ones I've clicked with to White List me and I've got a handful of those built up now and for the most part that has opened enough doors currently that I have relatively few problems for the time being.  Though at some point I ought to just join P411 which seems to be the best way to keep a standing verification that seems universally accepted. You do have to kind of re-build a rep and I do miss the easier days pre '05 but I fully respect the safety for the girls and of course for us.
