'm afraid I have to share a negative experience with Kandice.  This happened Saturday July 9, 2016.

I saw that Kandice was in Los Angeles so I texted her asking for a 5pm appointment. She responded fairly quickly with a “yes.”  I was so happy I finally scored an appt time with this well reviewed lady and was REALLY looking forward to our session. According to her ad, she was in Culver City, about 20 miles from where I live.
 
At about 3:45pm I texted her I was about to hit the road and asked her for a location. She responded “yes love,” but then didn’t text me any location. I thought I’d just better take off, because with Los Angeles traffic, it could take me an hour to get there and I didn’t want to be late. So I drove myself to some random part of Culver City. I arrived about 4:40pm. She texted me a couple more times in the car asking me to let her know when I was “close.”   I let her know I finally arrived in Culver City. She then texted me a hotel address which was on the OTHER side of Culver City so I had to rush a few miles to get there. I wish she had at least given me a location close to her actual address before I left the house so I didn’t have to rush. But still, I didn’t hold any of this against her as I was just looking forward to our session.
 
I parked at the hotel at 5:03. Not too late at all considering the circumstances. I texted I was there and she texted “ok 10 min please.” After I texted “got it,” her FINAL text to me was “ty” (thank you).
 
So I walked into the lobby of the hotel and waited in the lounge area expecting her to text me her room number in 10 minutes. So I waited. And waited. And waited. I’m a patient guy so I waited 45 minutes then texted:  “Kandice, how’s it going? Are you all right?”  I waited another 30 minutes and texted her again.: “Kandice, I am still waiting in the lounge. Are you okay?”   Still no response.
 
At the 90 minute mark I texted her “Kandice, have you decided you don’t want to see me? I can wait only 15 more minutes and then I’m afraid I’ll have to leave.”
 
Finally after 1 hour and 45 minutes I texted her “Kandice, I’m so sorry it didn’t work out. I was really looking forward to seeing you. I’m taking off now. I hope you are all right.”  At this point, I was still willing to forgive her if she had texted me back. But again, no response.
 
After driving 20 miles back home, I went from deeply disappointed to sad to angry. I texted her once more that I was tempted to immediately share my experience on the hobbyist boards but hesitated because I didn’t know what happened. Maybe she had a very good reason for being a no show. Still no response.
 
On Monday July 11, I texted her a final time: “Kandice I still haven’t heard back from you on why you noshowed on me Saturday, July 9, 5pm.”  A few hours later, she finally responded, 48 hours after no-showing me. Her verbatim text was:  
 
"Because something happened. I'm not obligated to explain. Get over it. Shit happens."
 
Well, I agree she isn’t obligated to go into details about what happened. So I don’t know. Maybe something really bad happened and she just wasn’t able to text me back for a couple of days.  Oddly, her ad was still being updated, but maybe her manager/booker was doing that automatically.  
 
Maybe she was having a bad day when she texted me her final response. We’re all human.  But I don’t know.  
 
I’m just really sorry the whole experience ended on such a sour note.
 
Tldr: Kandice was a noshow on Saturday July 9, 5pm. I waited 1 hour and 45 minutes in the hotel lounge for her to text me her room with no response.  She finally responded 48 hours later

With that attitude, she doesn't deserve your business.

I feel your pain brother.  Thanks for warning us about Kandice.  I have to admit, IMO you have a lot more patience than the typical Hobbyist.

Next time please put it at the beginning of your post, thanks. Also you should set a maximum wait time of 30 minutes without communication from a provider.  With communication by the provider I will go to a maximum one hour wait.

Your wait time maximum seems right on target.  I can't imagine myself waiting for close to 2 hours with no communication.

As for me, I wouldn't have bothered following up, at all, two days later.  After I leave due to NCNS, I've closed the door.  The provider should be following up with me.

You're a patient man! I had a very similar experience recently and this forum is a great place to share experiences both good and bad so we can filter out the flaky providers. Regardless of her circumstances, she should have texted you to cancel. Kandice is now on my DO NOT VISIT list (and many other hobbyists too I'm sure). Chin up and back in the saddle!

Had an experience like this before. Showed up to a DTLA hotel only to wait nearly a hour and finally gave up. She's well reviewed on here too so I'm disappointed that for whatever reason she chose not to see me that morning.

Did she screen you in any way before agreeing to the appt?

If not, wouldn't you worry for your safety? If you get in unscreened, ANYONE could, including LE.

Thoughts?

1. Don't take appt in first place
2. Make an excuse to cancel before appointment - like when he texted he was leaving for CC.
3. Respond at some point that day with an apology. Even if it's "Sorry, something came up, and I couldn't see you," it's better than crickets.

Bottom line: she was just rude. She'd be annoyed if the tables were turned, after all. So why shouldn't he be?

Hi, no she didn't really screen, but when I first contacted her I mentioned my first name, age, ethnicity, physical description.

I wasn't worried about HER being le, since she had some reviews and legit (albeit flaky). Of course, on HER end she should be worried about letting in le.  Maybe that's why she flaked. She thought I was le at the last minute. Don't know, since she never explained.

i have had ncns but my waiting time is usually less than 30 min before i bale.  you have the patience of job or else are really horny.

best thing, bro:  have a list of plan b ladies whom you've seen before and you can reach out to in an emergency if someone leaves you hanging.

Thanks for answering. My thought would be if a provider didn't screen (what you mention isn't screening), she could unknowingly let LE know where she's working, they could post up, and bam. You're fucked and not in the good way.
