OK. I keep on seeing all of these phenomenal reviews for Asian providers in LA neighborhoods like Culver City, Santa Monica, West LA, Mid-Wilshire, and Miracle Mile. I've called dozens of these providers in the last several days to try and get an appointment with no luck. Reviewers keep using words like "light screening", but that's not what I'm seeing.
Every last provider's booker requires not only one or two references, but those references have to be from other local Asian providers. No non-Asian refs taken! Anyone know what's up with that?
So, to see a local Asian provider, I need to get a ref from another local Asian provider - chicken and the egg! No other alternate verification is used (like employer info, non-local/non-Asian ref, etc.).
So, how do you get in? How do you get that first appointment that leads to eternal membership in Club Asia?
As I recall (it's been a few years), I got my first appointment with good timing. You have to catch the booker when they need the business - they lighten up on requirements when they need the cash! Be persistent and always mention TER.
