ok..i give. how the hell do you guys get into see these girls without reference. i'm from the TER oldschool and haven't been in the hobby as of late.. and there's some ladies i'd love to see... but i get the door slammed in my face due to the lack of references.

I heard so was Wow Nikki either last year or the year before. Try to contact her; I did hear she gained some weight.  

yes i did. but it seem like the k-girls ask for k-references. besides, AVA  was a while back and WNikki was even longer. i was asked for 6mos or less references... frustrating! argh!

Just find a provider that doesn't require references and visit.  Then try again, using her as a reference.  It is also polite to say "I am new to this and don't have any references" (even though you aren't really "new").  

I have also read a lot of reviews stating that they said it was their first time and the booker still worked it out with them through alternative screening.  So perhaps you are making them suspicious by something you are saying.

Received a private email asking a similar question; seems odd to me as most of the bookers seem to be able to work it out without a reference.  I rarely have to provide one....

Really?  I got hung up on with no reference and then they got my number through caller ID and when I called for some other girls they wouldn't pick up the phone.  No reference and you are screwed.  They probably have your number so they know you and don't require a reference.

keep trying dude.  i had a little trouble at first but kept with it, and let me tell you, my persistence paid off, asian girls, in my opinion, are hands down, THE BEST! like others have said, find a girl who doesn't require references.

I have been out of the hobby for many months - reasons not relevant, but for those months I neither saw any providers nor posted any posts.

So, I decide to give myself a treat, and...NADA....

My old "play phone" is long gone, but the bookers want my old number.  How the hell do I know it, since I tossed it when I went into retirement months ago.  And even though I am white listed, and have almost 20 reviews, I cannot get an appointment.

I will not see a non-reviewed girl -- too scary and to tell the truth, the results of going to a non-reviewed girl are what drove me out of the hobby many months ago.  SO, here I sit, unable to give some hard working Asian hottie my cold, green cash.  "What a revoltin' development!"

To gain trust can involve work.  Look at reviews of a hobbyist you admire.  Notice the name of first provider to which he wrote a review.  It could be that that reviewer sees first time hobbyist since that was his first review.  Read the newbie pages.  Learn the etiquette.  Be a gentleman. Be honest.  Say you are glad they answered your call.  Say you are trying to get your first app and that you are new.  Keep trying.  These ladies need to be reassured if you are not a known VIP member.  Here's an example of how a newbie can be an asshole and hurt a girl.  I just saw Sasha at noon today.  I have seen her maybe 8 times in the past year since joining TER and she is my ATF.  Some asshole who has never seen her by the TER handle of "lebronsux" gave her a 6 score writing around 3 lines and claiming he saw her in Mar Vista.  She is not in Mar Vista as anyone who has seen her knows.  What he wrote about her in his lame review could have been gleaned from reading other reviews of her.  I imagine someone is trying to sabotage her high scores...perhaps someone under an old name who she will not see anymore for who knows what bad behavior.  I advised her to not see Newbies or provider's who consistently give low scores.  Some men are simply misogynistic.  I am not using my regular TER name but one of my alias in this discussion board.  I have written more that 30 reviews in the year I have been with TER.  This is one of the best years of my life.  I have experienced some of the most memorable sexual experiences of my 58 years in the past year.   But you see why these providers have to be careful.  Take my advice:  see who the first provider was of some hobbyist and call her number.  Maybe she will let you be first for you too.

Yes, I know it is tough to book someone unless one has references now.  Most K houses now ask for two references since they are more concerned with LEs than before.  Some houses will refuse you if they know you tend to give low scores on TER.

Yeah I've been out for a year or so. All the years or so before never had any issues. Today tried again, bam no references = nothing. Very strange.

I think there's a few things going on here ---

From what I've been told, the bookers know each other in the k-girl market.  After all the references for k-girls are usually OTHER k-girls that you've seen.  So the bookers talk to each other.   The k-girl world is a lot smaller than you think.  If you haven't seen k-girls before, try to convince the booker for other ways to confirm your identity.  Most are familiar with TER, I recall when I first started the k-girl thing they wanted to send me a PM to confirm that I was who I was.   It seemed to be a little easier back then.

Secondly, they have more customers than they can handle.  They're not necessarily looking for new clients.

Thirdly, if you've written some bad reviews and they know who you are on TER they may not be taking your calls.  You could have been blacklisted.  They don't want bad press, even if your review is true.  They see that as being bad for their business, and if you're too hard to please, oh well, fuck you.  There's plenty of customers available, and most don't write reviews.  I know this from experience.  

Oh well, you can always go back to AMPs!!

Sorry to the legitimate new guys, but with all the recent requests on this board + all the recent Law enforcement activity regarding "cleaning up LA",  I am highly suspicious.  So the bookers heavily screen, especially the bookers for Asian girls who have a double risk, especially if they are past their time on their visa.  Well, sorry!  They are just being cautious!  Get over it, and move on!  See someone else.  

And guys, there have been at least four recent posts about "how can I get in to see an Asian provider, if I have no references?".  STOP advising them!  Law enforcement reads this board too!  They have been frustrated by great bookers protecting the girls, by not letting the police get in to "entrap" their girls.  Yes the bookers are that good!.   Do you really want your favorite girl being carted away by police or immigration!  C'mon!  Ignore them.  The legitimate new guys will figure it out, that you don't just get to go straight to the major leagues, you gotta work your way up, put in your reviews, etc.   Again sorry to the legitimate good guys who are trying to get back into the hobby, but you're gonna have to see non-Asian girls until this police activity settles down.  Just my $0.02

In two words: MULTIPLE PROVIDERS.  By that I mean, more than one provider in an apartment at a time.  Let me explain.....

If I am with a provider in an apartment that seems to be empty except for the two of us, and then sometime during the session, I hear voices in the living room, or the other bedroom, I get nervous.  How the hell do I know that the guy with the other provider in the other room is not a cop?  I DON'T.  Know, I know I am not a cop, as Buscemi said to Keitel in RESERVOIR DOGS, but how do I know the other guy is not a cop?  Again, I don't; and because I don't, I get nervous....

And it happened to me once -- I was just finishing a session with a nice thai gal.  I'd seen her before.  Dumped my load in her mouth, she rinsed, cleaned me up, we dressed....  AND ALL OF A SUDDEN I hear a guy outside talking to the other provider, asking her in a loud voice all sorts of questions that set every alarm bell ringing.  I knew in ten seconds the guy was a cop.

And he was.  I was fully dressed, the 'evidence' of my sins flushed down the toilet or sink, but still I was worried (as I should have been).  I tried to brazen my way past the cops, but they insisted on talking to me and asking me questions.  I told them I had gotten a legit massage and that was it.  I stuck to the story and they eventually let me leave.  BUT...they could have arrested me on some idiotic theory or another and it would not have mattered to my GF that the charges would have been dropped, eventually.

So, I try to stay away from providers who share a place with another girl.  One-on-one for me, if I can arrange it....

I completely agree. I briefly considered making a suggestion or two, but then thought better of it. I wouldn't want to be the cause of any of these lovely ladies getting into trouble.

Never thought of that one RT. The rent for these nicer complexes inhabited by the lovely K-girls is pretty f'in ridiculous, more than my mortage payment in just about all cases. I can't remember my last appointment with a lady that wasn't sharing.

Billy D, thank you for thinking straight.  At least somebody out there is being cautious! Seriously, every summer the police activity is increased around July and August, and you can bet they read Ter and monitor cityvibe, etc.  Seriously, if our ATF's gets carted off by police or immigration, There is no one else to blame but ourselves for giving police the tools to beat the bookers who do such a great job of screening customers, that police have not been able to get in the door.

When I started in the hobby, many years ago, ktown girls and san Gabriel Valley brothels were closed to non-asians. At least you have SOME chance, now. I wonder what the new stimulus for the LE crackdown is. Its not like they get special funds for busting providers as they do when they haul in drugs and cash. Who's pushing it? (Remeber the day when every sweeps period the tv stations the cops would sweep the streetwalkers aand the tv stations would endlessly tease it at EVERY break, but not show footage until the end? I think they made more money off prostitution than the girls

I was in the same boat.   I wanted to see one Asian girl, but couldn't because all my references were about 10 years out of date.   Found a non-Asian who was great (Jenny in the Valley... highly recommend her, btw) and she gave me a reference.  We even talked about the references issue.   That got me enough to get past one Asian booker.  Hopefully now it won't be a problem.
