just don't do your muddy run in those platforms!

So my big Tough Mudder run is FINALLY here!  Holy crap!  What the hell did I get myself into?!?

On Saturday I'll be running 10 miles up and down the side of a ski mountain, facing extremely tough physical obstacles along the way, and I'll be doing the entire thing covered in mud.

Why am I doing it?  Well, for those of you who know me, you know I'm a brainy sort of gal with a strong athletic side and I like to think I can hang with the boys, hence, my taking on this challenge. Its that whole "Anything you can do I can do better," thing.  And this run raises a lot of money that benefits wounded soldiers, so I get to do something good for people.

Anyhow, I was hoping that I could entice a few of you to visit me this week to help keep my mind off Saturday?  What do you think?  Could you spare some time for me?  You would be doing a good deed for a gal in need...  ;-)

I would LOVE a distraction and nothing works better than a fun visit!!!!

I admit, the mud might be kinda sexy.  I'll be sure to take some pictures for you guys and maybe I'll post one here...if you're lucky.

Ciao!

Yes, important safety tip, thanks Egon. (for those of you who have no clue what that is, I'm quoting Ghostbusters)

That is crazy....But....So you're in peak physical condition and you've been training for stamina?  This sounds like a perfect time to visit. And you know to help you get your mind off that mudder f'er. ;)

And apparently, as another lovely frequenter on this board has educated me, the stronger my legs and bum get the tighter "I" get.  Which is really true because I....You know what?  I think I'll leave it at that.

Have a lovely day boys!

Hello beautiful Alyssa...
I guess it's up to me...I'm sending you an email on your website...hope you can find time Thursday evening and that your TER special is still going on.

You're obviously very fit. Hopefully you have some experience with events like this at high altitude.
Not trying to be a smartypants but I have competed in endurance events for quite some time and I can tell you it makes a huge difference, 7,000 ft vs sea level.
