I have written in the past asking for advice on the Palm Springs area.  Having traveled there quite a bit myself now, I have some thoughts and impressions.  

First, "spotty" would be a good word to describe the situation.  There are very few TER reviewed ladies, making it a matter of going into CityVibe, seeing whose is available, making calls and going from there.

The next impression after a half-dozen or so calls and encounters, is that 3/4ths of the ladies are not the girl in ad AND often the person you talked with on the phone is not the person who will see when you show up. So, you have to be prepared to be talking to a person who is not the person in the photo in order to visit the person who is not the person on the phone and the photo.

Negatives inside of negatives.  

My answer to this is that, while I have always been uncomfortable doing it, is to say, thanks but no thanks and walk away.

On the other hand, I have, by pure senendipidy been pleasantly surprised.  On one occasion, the girl in the photo turned out to be actually the one who met me AND she had a friend there who was a knockout in looks and I later came to find, in performance.

I won't name any names here as the message will understandably likely get bounced as a shill post. Maybe I'll post some reviews, though I haven't in the past.

The bottom line, by my expereince is that, is that if you want variety beyond the TER reviewed ladies, you'll need to be prepared to maintain a skeptical eye, but there are gems there if you are patient and lucky.  

Not much help, I know, but maybe helpful in the sense that you need to be prepared to work at it more than other places.  

Also, several weeks ago, I shared my list of the Laws of Hobbying (like Murphy's Law).  Others added a few.  To those, based on my Palm Desert expereince, I would add:  The sexier and more enticing the language in the add, the less likely the phone number and the photo are accurate."
