I have no intentions to take cheap shots at you personally but will comment on your statements. I too have been skeptical when it comes to how the k-girls are treated. I really wondered myself if they were being forced in someway to do this. But I now feel pretty confident that most of the k-girls are not being threatened, held against their will, etc. Yes I am sure there are exceptions and there may be instances that crop up where they are, but for the most part when it comes to the LA K-girls they are here doing this work on their own free will.....And it isn't a matter of them telling us; it is as Harp said, those of us who have developed relationships with them can see by their actions and what they do that they are free to do as they want. With that said, you are right that most of the k-girls are working for an agency in a segment of this market that sets a price and takes a cut. The agency provides a set of services, incurs costs, and takes risks so they get paid for that. The girl can choose to use the agency or not....Yes, at the beginning if the k-girl wants to work here they don't have a lot of choice but to use an agency, but over time they do.
As far as exploitation goes, that is a rather complex subject depending on who's theory or definition you believe. But, in basic terms it means the use of human labor without providing adequate compensation. When it comes to this profession, it is very subjective as to what adequate compensation is.
