I wish someone can explain to me the various market forces behind our hobby. Maybe instead of a M&G, it should be escortnomics 101.
I've been noticing a trend and thought I mention it to prompt some discussion.
Looking through reviews I see a trend that the older providers seems to offer a wider menu of services, sometimes for lower rates.
As an example, a younger girl (say 20-25) may set a rate of $$$$$ but have reviews that basically point to an amazing body and FS, where an older provider (35+) might have reviews that show Greek, RIM, swallow and more for &&&&.
So I'm wondering if this is simple supply/demand; i.e. to compete in the market they need to offer a wider menu, or is it a comfort level with the service. In other words, the more comfortable they are with the service the more services they offer?

to push the rates higher as of recent. Seeing more 270, 260, 300+ in my known k-kingdom and it makes me sad. At the standard 250, when I get awesome service I tip from 20-50 and that actually happens a lot.
Outside the k-world it seems there are no constants. When I spent more time there (Russian, White, Latina), it never made a difference what I paid, old or young, awesome or lame, they seemed to all want 300 and above and I was rarely happy. I never found that service was more generous with older or less with less mature. It was always about luck or chemistry. In k-heaven one is more likely to get lucky, again no matter the age of the provider. I sure hope the trend to raise k-rates slows, since my own economy has stayed relatively consistently lame for the last 5 years and k-land is my only break from a rather bleak reality. If rates go up, I gotta deal with more stress for longer periods of time.
They charge 500-1000 and they dont understand that especially in the first meeting,would it hurt to stay a few minutes little longer to get to know them so you might have a regular that will see you a few times a month, or would you just rather see 100 different guys that you never know who you will get . I had one girl cum to my house the first time charge $600 .She stayed 45 minutes and I told her I payed for an hour . She said next time ! She had the BALLS to text me several a few weeks later if I wanted to see her again . I told her I wasnt happy and told her nicely WHY? She said Ill make it up to you . I did not take her up for her offer .Once burned but never twice!

Really? Where are you seeing a trend upward in K-kindom as you call it? Sure there are a couple independent K-Dolls charging $260, $270 but they have been for a while, so no change. I don't know of any of the general K-Dolls that are charging 300+.......And I believe most if not all the agency k-dolls are still 250.....

I dont see this trend anywhere at all...The standard rates have stayed the same and as previous poster mentioned, the current few that charge the 260-270 have stayed the same..If I recall correctly, the only kgirl that charged a premium was Audrey at $$$$...
The only real price changes I have seen are in regards to the specials that Pepsi seems to charge with thier girls..other than that..the kgirl experience still is the best deal AND experience in town.

How many reviews did you read to come up this "trend" The only trend I care about, is what's the donation and menu of the provider I'm going to see next.
Well, I didn't exactly do a peer reviewed study with footnotes... but as I go thru Cityvibe and find girls that look interesting, first I'll check if they're on TER. If they are, I'll look over their reviews. What I found, was what I posted. It seems like a lot of the younger providers post higher rates and more limited menus. While the older providers menus where more extensive for usually less rate. In a Supply/Demand Service industry, I just wondered about the reasoning.
Over the last few months, many of the established LA providers have retired or moved on. Many of them offered a wide variety of menu items all for a moderate hourly rate. Some items or extra time were just included for regulars. These ladies spoiled us!
As we say goodbye to those ladies, we welcome in the new ladies. And just like DarkGonzo has noticed, rates are higher. Im not going debate what is a fair rate, but just say, a lady sets the rate that best works for her and we the clients choose to pay it or not. But, we also have to remember that prices for hotel rooms, apartment rental and fuel costs have gone up. So, part of our donations are going towards that. I understand those cost and if they make it easier for me to hobby, then I don't have a problem paying for all that.
From many of the reviews, you do see that trend. It is hard to say if it is the lady not offering certain services or the reviewers not interested in certain services or there is another reason. I started in this 10 years ago, and in that time things have changed. Ladies used to be more inclined to established themselves on the boards/ reviews and take pride in them. Many of the new ones are delisting themselves and do not want any part of this board. Another trend with the newer ladies is that they are using assistants. These assistants do help the ladies out but I got used to contacting the lady directly, getting to know each other with a few emails then meeting. The ladies do have to pay for their assistants, so that cost is passed on to the client.
There are too many variables to point out a specific reason to your observation.

Every provider has her limits as to how low she will go and how much she will do.
It's hard to generalize.
