In the 8 years I've been posting on this board, and the many more years I've been hobbying, I've seen the hobby get generally a lot better--hotter girls, more variety, etc. If I had to narrow the changes down to one thing I've noticed it has to be just the immense number of providers who grace us lil' ol' Angelenos with their charms.
What do you think has/have been the biggest change(s) in the hobby in the last 10 years?
I agree that it's the immense number of new providers. But let's be honest, most of them are Asian gals who provide a good service at a price generally less than most of the Anglo gals out there. Obviously it's because most of them are here for a short time and then they're gone with none of the worries that family and friends might know that they're into escorting. Is this a good thing? I'm not sure. Personally, I have actually preferred being in long term relationships with certain providers where we have established a certain bond (realizing that it is a business!) whereby I'm not always searching for that new encounter. But that's just me. I'm sure many guys feel differently. Anyhow that's my spin on your post. Ciao
The Asians, particularly the K-girls have made a big change in the hobby. The have provided a pretty solid base at a lower cost point with generally consistent quality.
I only wish there were more classy girls who really put the extra emphasis on the little details .
Let me start by saying I completely agree with CENZO1 and ben. But I have something to add.
It's kind of like the auto business. Certain countries dominated the auto business decades ago - the USA, England, Germany, Italy, etc. Then after WW II the Japanese started working the business. Initially we thought their cars were cheap and poor quality, but over the years they got to the top of the quality and value scales and did phenomenal business by brilliantly figuring how to compete and win. Later the Koreans and others entered the competion and, again, we thought they provided a cheap product with poor quality. Then Kia and Hyundai (By the way, I love seeing Kia, and when will we have a provider named Hyundai offered to us in WLA?) rose to a very high level of quality and value. Next will come the Chinese, I suppose. When will the Mongolians and Thais join the automobile competition?
The Asians are smart and work hard and figure out how to beat the competiton and win. It has made our lives much better.
By the way, I don't think the Russians have ever made great cars.
I believe this helps me understand how the Asians have changed and improved the sex business so much. They have come in to make money and have figured out so well how to do it and win.
The quality and consistantcy of performance has drastically improved in the escort business in the last few years due to the dominance of the Asian girls. Mostly Korean. I had never really thought of Korean girls as World Class beauties but not any more. I have seen some of the most beautiful women in the world and their service is fantastic.
I no longer have to put up with the BS from the Eastern European girls with their attitudes and poor service. I haven't seen one in a couple of years.
As Bigjohnson mentioned the Chinese will get organized and make an assault on the business soon. They are here but they are normally the less attractive girls with good service but for a few dollars more.....have a Korean.
He also mentioned Mongolians and the hotest girl I am seeing now is Mongolian but she is a non-pro left over from a CL ad. She has some friends who are not in the business but are smoking hot.
Anyway I just want to thank the Koreans for being here even if it is for a short time. However, some of the best are long term players. If you haven't seen a certain 9 9 consistant Korean beauty in the Marina you are missing my new miss America. Stolen from Korea fair and square.

I don't see that many hot Russian providers around anymore at least not at the lower prices they used to be.
I have to agree that the influx of hot Korean girls is baffling...it seems like it's only been within the last year or so... But, they're better looking than their white counterparts for the most part, more reliable and cost less...

When I started this lovely addiction, it was hound-dogging after Russian's primarily. But I had so many bad experiences, in part perhaps due to the circumstances of the providers arrangements (read, not completely into the job). But then I slowly switched over to the Asian nation, and while I feel the quality was not so intense 10 years ago, today is a new ballgame. As mentioned, the k-population is crazy consistently good now and the plane loads that seem to daily help us...unload...and the ease at which we can pick, choose AND filter with the help of this great site make the hobby so easy to get lost in. Back to CV....
I'd agree the influx of attractive and skilled K-girls has changed the landscape considerably. On the downside, I used to see known porn stars for A LOT less than what they're charging now. I'd say there's more variety in the biz today with college girls out to make a few bucks while in school and soccer moms out to pay their credit card bills
Those were good times about 10 years ago for me. With a very good agency run by a tough minded but good hearted young women. What a tragedy that she is gone. RIP Miss M.

I guess when Miss "M" overdosed (that is what I heard but I have no direct knowledge) and died the businees then also died. Her assistant took over the website but had to change the name. She continued for some time and then she just disappeared. The assistant was too nice and also paranoid. Miss M had brass balls in my estimation.
I actually met both Miss M and her assistant at their office in Bev Hills. However, I wasn't cool enough I guess to get invited to their parties where they would invite a few of their lady employees and party hardy with recreational drugs and booze.
