but seriously, there are providers and agencies that will screen.  Read the ads and the reviews.  You'll have to provide some personal information (name, phone, employer, sometimes more) but they'll check you out and likely be willing to see you.  Be patient, you may get turned down by some and you're not likely to see one of the board's favorite providers until you have references but you'll find someone willing to see you after screening and over time build up a reputation that will let you see almost anyone (as long as you're a decent guy).
