I am on a dating site, and this guy I want to meet (a bodybuilder) I think is using fake photo's. I want to check it out.

When you upload a photo, what does it tell you?. Will it tell you anything about the age of the photo?. How old it is, etc?.

Thank you!.

Just go to www.tineye.com, and upload your photo (of him).  The reverse search engine will check the internet to see if it can find any matches.  It's my understanding that the sampling from the internet is from specific portions of the web and relatively small (compared to the overall size of the internet), so tineye might not necessarily find the photo, even if it was on Facebook or Google Images.

You simply right click ANY photo on the Internet anywhere and a context menu (the one that would let you save etc.,) comes up with an option of "search image with Tineye".  The metadata from the photo is uploaded and Tineye responds in a new window (usually 10-15 seconds) showing you all matches it found, when they were posted and WHERE they were posted.  It doesn't matter if the photo has been cropped, face blurred etc., - it's very reliable and accurate.  It then offers you a "compare" option, allowing you to view your questionable photo side-by-side with what Tineye thinks is a match.  Very handy, and useful.
