I will be visiting LA soon again and need some advice from both ladies and gentlemen. During my previous visits I stayed in downtown LA and was quite happy. This time I am also considering Beverly Hills due to personal commitments at that area. What is your suggestion and preference of the two as clients? I very much appreciate your input. XO Zayla
but there are also locations where street parking permit is required during certain hours and can be a pain.
Getting a parking ticket or car towed sucks. Pretty much all the hotel are valet parking and cost ridiculous amount unless your date finds street parking? Go where you wanna stay. Just giving my 2cents.
Santa Monica, Venice, Century City, Marina Del Rey, Culver City....... that would be my vote. All assailable via surface streets Downtown, unless one is currently there, been hell to get to. The valley just become geographically unattractive. but I digress
...much worse Downtown. And the traffic is hell. BH hotels are in commercial areas where metered parking is available. Some BH hotels are on the border with L.A. where there usually isn't permit parking. Unlike Downtown, I've never had to pay for parking in BH.
Century City is OK, plenty of hotel choices. If you want to blow it out in style in BH, try the Peninsula on little Santa Monica blvd, walking distance to a lot of high end shopping, a great restaurant on site and a bar scene with plenty of eye candy. There's also a Starbucks across the street if you can't live without their over priced joe.
